What Is Frosty's HVAC Deposit and Cancellation Policy?
Frosty's HVAC requires a 50% deposit at checkout. The deposit is fully refundable until equipment ships (typically 24-48 hours), then becomes non-refundable but is 100% credited toward your final invoice. The remaining 50% is due within 24 hours of install passing inspection.

1. Who You're Buying From
Orders on newacnearme.com are fulfilled by Frosty's HVAC LLC, a Texas-licensed HVAC contractor (TACLA126718E). The actual install may be performed by a Frosty's-network installer in your city — but Frosty's HVAC LLC is responsible for your order.
2. Pricing & Deposit
- Prices shown are estimates within the published range. Your exact installed price is confirmed before deposit.
- 50% deposit due at checkout. Remaining 50% due within 24 hours of install passing inspection.
- Deposit locks in your price — no upcharges for parts, labor, or surprise discoveries.
- If we discover during install that your home requires materially different equipment than ordered (rare — <2% of installs), we'll discuss options before proceeding. You can cancel and get a full refund.
3. Refund Policy
- Before equipment ships (typically 24-48 hours after deposit): full refund, no questions asked.
- After equipment ships, before install: deposit becomes non-refundable but is fully credited if you reschedule install within 60 days.
- After install: standard manufacturer + labor warranty applies. No refunds for buyer's remorse on installed equipment.
- If we cannot complete the install (no installer available, equipment unavailable, etc.): full refund within 5 business days.
4. Warranty
Equipment carries the manufacturer's standard warranty (typically 10 years parts when registered — we register automatically). Labor warranty depends on your tier:
- Stay Cool: 1 year labor warranty
- Stay Frosty: 2 year labor warranty
- It's A Frosty Life: 5 year labor warranty
- Extended labor warranty: $3,500 for additional 5 years on any tier
Warranty is voided by: unauthorized modifications, lack of annual maintenance, damage from natural disasters / power surges (covered by your homeowner's insurance), and removal of manufacturer name plates.
5. Install Scope
Standard install includes:
- Equipment removal & disposal of old system
- New equipment installation per manufacturer specs
- Standard ductwork connections (no full duct replacement)
- Permit handling with local jurisdiction
- Refrigerant charge & startup testing
- Walk-through with homeowner on system operation
Not included (additional cost if needed): electrical panel upgrades, gas line modifications, full ductwork replacement, attic decking, asbestos remediation. We'll discuss before adding any charges.
6. Disputes
We try to resolve all disputes directly. If we can't, disputes are resolved through binding arbitration in Dallas County, Texas, under Texas law. You also retain the right to file a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR), which licenses HVAC contractors.
